I done a service on the civic 2.2 in late feb the other day my oil light came on checked it and its on minimum theres no smoke what i can see only first thing small puff of blue the engine looks dry im gona take the under tray off tomorrow and have a look is there any reason its to consume that much i havent drivien it mega miles ive bin on

I did the gearbox oil change today anyone that may be looking on this thread on how to do the change you will need 14mm washer for the drain bolt, 20mm for the fill bolt. Both are 3/4 type to undo and the fill bolt requires the battery and tray to be removed with a long extension bar to reach onto the
11 posts 路 Joined 2016. #1 路 Oct 23, 2016. hi there, i changed the gearbox oil on my 2006 crv, the filler and drain plugs were in a different location to other pictures i'd seen. drain plug is pointing to the front and accessable after removing the undertray. fill plug is under the battery tray.

Hi fellow civic owners, My 2.2 civic has had an engine whine since i bought it, it was reported to dealer the day i bought and i was told it was normal, i then took it to my local Honda dealer to take a look and was told again that it was normal for this engine. Well, i dont think it is.
