It Touring is the second bodystyle offered in the current 3-series range. Despite performance, running costs in the 330d are impressive: a claimed 55.4mpg and 165g/km. The big six-pot motor is Reliability Survey, the current BMW 3 Series diesel finished last, 26th out of 26th, in the executive car class. The hybrid 330e finished ninth and the petrol-engined cars were in seventh place. If you want a straight-six, then you need the 540i petrol or 530d diesel.
