Set it to 1. Setting it to 2 gives you half of your monitors refresh rate. or. V-sync in this game is broken & there is no triple buffering so your framerate with continously drop from 60 to 30. I recommend disabling it & setting max buffered frames to "off".
This was ridiculed with Far Cry 3 classic edition when it came out with Far Cry 5 season pass, looks like Ubisoft didn't even try to fix it. Theres no doubt that the game would easily run at 60fps at 4k on next gen consoles, hell it most likely would play at 120fps at 1080p.I felt like the resolution in sonic all stars transformed was horrible. So I'll probably for the far cry 3 classic edition at 1440p aslong as the motion blur doesnt cause shimmering when panning the camera. Be careful. Some games have fps boost on series x, but *not* one x. (sonic generations) You might think that high FPS wouldn't be an issue, but if a game runs at very high framerate like Far Cry on my GTX 660 runs at 400FPS, it unnecessarily renders 400 frames every second when 120 would be more than enough.
