I have a 2015 Cherokee Latitude. It "was" doing the same thing. I started by getting a trickle charger and keeping my battery charged above 80% that helped. However, it was not long after this fix it started working intermittently again. About 2 weeks ago I decided to change the HVAC cabin filter. The issue with the stop/start went away.
